 |
English/Englisch:
Sooo...in this topic we can discuss about holidays...
What will you do in the next holidays?...Are you going to go on vacation?...If yes...where?...
In the next holidays(holidays because of Whitsun) i will go to turkey^^it'll be very cool there...oh i love foreign countrys
And in the summer holidays i'll go to spain and to France...oh it'll be so coooool^^
And i have some questions...:
1.How many holidays are in romania(in a year)?
2.When are these holidays?
3.How long last the holidays?
If someone want to know something about the holidays in germany...he/she can ask in this topic^^

here in romania we start the school on 15 september, but this thing will change on the next year and we'll start on 1 september..so the first vacantion is the christmas vacantion(24december-5 january) and the first semester ends on 4 february when we have a short vacantion for a week(4-12 february), the 3 vacantion is the easter vacantion(15-24 april) and the school year ends on 17 june.so in a year we have 3 vacantion.and how are the holidays in germany?
i'm not sure what i will do on the summer vacantion maybe i will go to the seaside i don't know yet.but on 26 may i will go with my classmates in a short vacantion in brasov, a nice city situated in the center of romania and we will visit dracula's castel and other interesting places.

and how are the holidays in germany? |
I write down the holidays (and public holidays) from the 2006/2007 school year because the holidays move always:
- Summer holidays (03.08.2006 - 15.09.2006) - six weeks (or thus)
- 1 day free of lessons (02.10.2006)
- day of the German unity (public holiday; 03.10.2006)
- autumn holidays (30.10.2006 - 03.11.2006) - one week
- Christmas vacation (+ 1/2 Christmas Day; 27.12.2006 - 05.01.2007) - 2 weeks
- Winter holidays (19.02.2007 - 23.02.2007) - 5 movable holidays
- Easter holidays (02.04.2007 - 13.04.2007) - two weeks
- 1 day free of lessons (30.04.2007)
- 1st May, 2007 (public holiday)
- Ascension Day (public holiday; 17.05.2007)
- 1 day free of lessons (18.05.2007)
- Whitsun Monday (public holiday; 28.05.2007)
- Whitsun holidays (29.05 - 08.06.2007)
- summer holidays (26.07.2007 - 07.09.2007)
