Cicile's style mixes many musical genres, including alternative rock, post rock and catchy rock/pop tainted with melancholic melody. Homogeneity for all of their songs does all of them deal with the same three keywords: Despair, Longing and Hope. Just in two different ways. Songs like “Ghostâ€ and â€Where She Walksâ€, is about the girl, Cicille, meanwhile songs like “Another Placeâ€ and “Mobpsychologyâ€, is about the world around her. The band is best known for their energetic and massive live performances, and they already have played in a lots of sound venues around in Denmark, e.g. Lades Kælder (Kbh.), Voxhall (Aarhus), Studenterhuset/Pakhuset (Aarhus), Harmonien (Svendborg) and Rampelys (Silkeborg), and are now working on gigs outside their own country. After working together for about eight months, Cicille released their first EP, Cicille, in October 2007, followed by lots of TOP 30 placements at the Danish music community, mymusic. dk and a four weeks Airplay during on the international web radio, KWFW. net.
