Since when and how did you become a TH fan? |
 |
I was watching on MTV one night (November 14, 2007).
It was the EMA Munich 2007 Nomination replay.
I saw this weird looking being with a very porcupine-like mane.
Ahead of time, I thought he was cool.
But, at that point, I couldn't classify his gender. (Sorry Bill! I love you, anyway. )
The nominees for the Band of the Year award were announced ~ including my favorite bands Linkin Park, Good Charlotte, Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance and then, here comes, "Tokio Hotel."
I was like, "Who the heck are they? I love all of the other bands, now, who's this?"
At that night, I browsed the web and started researching about them.
I immediately became their fan but not yet much. It was just amazement at first. And, thank Bill for that!
And then, while I was watching the EMA awards show (November 20, 2007)..
I saw their Monsoon performance. That song stucked in my mind that I even got a low score at my English test the following day. I became an obsessed fan, forgetting my priors in life because of Tokio Hotel. I started talking about them everywhere and anywhere. And then, it went on and on and on until I've decided to create a TH fan site (THUniversity). My TH journey still continues..
Every 20th of the month, I celebrate. It's because it's the monthsary of my TH fandom.
PS: You might get confused.
Nov. 14: Was just my curiosity and amazement of Tokio Hotel.
Nov. 20: Official day I became a TH fan.
